Lama Chopa Puja

Lama Chopa Puja is the essential practice of most Tibetan Buddhists.  It is a form of Guru yoga and rejoices in the unbroken lineage of the teachings.

During the ceremony many physical offerings are made and transformed mentally into pure objects to offer the Buddhas and other less fortunate beings.

The entire puja lasts for about two hours and is led by Master Lobsang Kedup, who is a brilliant umdze, or chant leader.

You should arrive 15minutes before the start and bring some kind of offering, such as juice, cakes, biscuit etc.

At the end of the puja all the offerings are shared out to be enjoyed in a mini-party.

Everyone is welcome, you don't need to book, be a Buddhist or have any previous experience to come along.
