Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights* The Thangka Academy shows movies with a Buddhist or Tibetan Theme.  Everyone is welcome, you do not need to book and entry is free.

The Academy has a large 2.5 metre screen, allowing for a great cinematic experience for everyone.

Movies usually start at 7:30pm, however you're advised to turn up a little earlier to get comfortable.  Throughout the night, guests may purchase, teas, coffees and snacks.

Most "Buddhist" movies will come with a handout explaining the relevant key themes in the movie.

So, come along, you'd be surprised what kind of movies actually have strong Buddhist themes.
